Welcome to the LACWAP Website

The LACWAP was formed to provide a forum for the sharing of ideas and experience between Louisiana Public School personnel who are responsible to the public to insure that children attending public schools meet the legal attendance requirements and that students are provided a safe, non-threatening learning environment.

“As always, there will be excellent speakers, delicious meals, lots of great entertainment, but above all…..fellowship and collaboration among many Child Welfare workers, social workers, TASC personnel, FINS and a multitude of other disciplines to aide in Louisiana’s effort to reduce truancy and prevent high school dropouts”
