FRANK J. PASQUA

2008

On Thursday, June 19, 2008 Mr. Frank J. Pasqua, was presented the 2008 Wilfred Broussard Award and was recognized by the Louisiana Association of Child Welfare and Attendance Personnel (LACWAP) as the Outstanding Person of the Year.

Frank J. Pasqua is a proud father of 2 daughters and a lifetime resident of Thibodaux, La .  He received two B.A. degrees, a Master's degree and a Master's degree plus 30 graduate hours from Nicholls State University.  As a Hall of Fame graduate in 1969 and a member of the NSU original basketball team, he began his teaching career which today spans almost forty years.  


Mr. Pasqua has been serving as the Supervisor of Child Welfare & Attendance for Lafourche Parish Public Schools since 1997.  As a 10 year member of the Louisiana Association of Child Welfare and Attendance Personnel, Inc., he serves on the Executive Committee as Chairman of the Handbook Committee and Chairman of the Legislative Committee.  Mr. Pasqua has worked and continues to work diligently for our Association presenting at state conventions, in-servicing new CWA Supervisors, studying and staying abreast of all legislation that affects the jobs we perform.  He is always faithful and gracious in providing important information and mentorship to all of us.  He is devoted whole-heartedly to improving the lives of young people across our state and consistently inspires and encourages those of us who serve and perform duties in the area of Child Welfare & Attendance. 


We are honored and blessed to have Mr. Pasqua as a member of the LACWAP, Inc. family and present him the 2008 Wilfred Broussard Award, the highest and most prestigious award of LACWAP, Inc.
